Two traditional saccharification devices
This equipment is used earlier in the industry and mainly consists of mashing/boiling pots. Filter tank, mashing/boiling pot with spin sink or mashing/filtering function.
Its main advantages are: simple equipment and less investment; simple pipeline and simple operation; low equipment height and low requirements on site height.
2. Three separate saccharification devices
There are various combinations of this equipment, and the commonly used combinations are as follows: saccharification pot + filter tank + boiling/spinning tank; saccharification/filter tank + boiling pot + spinning tank; saccharification/filter tank + boiling/spinning tank + hot water tank; Saccharification/Boiler + Filter Tank + Hot Water Tank. In general, this combination of equipment, although varied, remains the same. Routine brewing batches are similar to classic mash-up equipment. The disadvantage is that the height of the equipment is short, the filtration can only use suction filtration, and the equipment occupies a large area.
3. A new type of saccharification with two tanks and three devices
This kind of equipment is widely accepted by the market and belongs to the latest transformation of the classic saccharification equipment.
This equipment is usually a mashing/boiler. The filtering/spinning tank is actually composed of upper and lower layers, the upper layer is the filter tank and the lower layer is the spinning sink.
4. Large-scale saccharification device with three devices and four devices
This type of equipment generally has a volume of more than 1,000 liters, and is a combination of saccharification/filter tank +/spinning tank + hot water tank, usually adding auxiliary equipment such as screw conveyor, wort balance tank, and hop filter tank.
